How To: Repair a Corrupt Archive File

Archive files are very common these days. Sometimes, when you download a compressed file from the internet it may give you a "CRC read error" which means that the archive file is corrupt. This is very frustrating especially if the file size was big because normally you may choose to download the file again. But there is another way around. You can repair the (.rar) or (.zip) file using WinRAR compression tool which normally fixes the problem.
